Intensive travel throughout Europe is where Lisa's passion for fine pastry was first ignited.
The love of an afternoon treat along with a great cup of coffee has always driven her to find the best local shops. The one item she always craved once back in Canada was great cannoli.

It was impossible to find a fresh and authentic one that was light, flaky and not too sweet. After much recipe development and friends willing to taste test along the way, she developed a lightly sweet traditional Sicilian recipe and 
Kootenay Cannoli was born.
After thirty years in high demand sales and customer service Lisa brings her kitchen skills and love of Italian pastries.
